![]() ![]() Oh, and her mother was already gone before Shepard killed her. I was always so jittery when Liara came around, but she was always so assertive of all situations that it was like Shepard and Liara had been married for 50 years. Asari allegedly are teens for 80 years, but suddenly her boobs just enlarge and she's practically a matriarch? She became so astute in ME3, that having her as a love interest became a more bland experience. I do miss some of her confusion and immaturity towards feelings of love that was in ME1. After having witnessed everything that went down in ME1, it's not at all a stretch that you come out a person with more fortitude and a tough enough skin to track down the Shadowbroker. She's in awe that someone has seen prothean imagery, and her adolescent feelings are very confusing to her, and she learns to handle them, and explore them. The "preteen crush" is not a viable subject to explore? She's obviously very taken by Shepard - that in itself would be horrible to say is "no depth", but you're also missing that it's really her fascination for the protheans that has manifested itself in Shepard, after Shepard has touched the beacon.
